A radiation absorbing product was required that is made from PE-HMW and PE-UHMW for applications in hospitals, nuclear power stations, the nuclear industry and other areas with high levels of radiation. PROFILAN developed a product matrix that fullfills these special requirements.
This product which contains elemental BOR is now available. Depending on the kind application you can choose between two different executions, one with a 5% BOR content and the other with a 2% BOR content. The product is available under the trade name PROlen - BOR 5 or PROlen - BOR 2.
