Your job at the Profilan plastics plant in Legden
You’ll work closely with the Production, Maintenance, Electrical, and Quality Assurance departments. You’ll be responsible for a modern fleet of machinery, including sintering presses, extruders, planer-turning systems, sheet-cutting saws, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers, robotic systems, and conveyor and automation technology. With your manual dexterity and technical expertise, you’ll ensure that our equipment runs reliably and that production downtime is minimized. You can expect a variety of tasks, state-of-the-art technology, and a team that works together to create high-quality plastic products for customers across a wide range of industries. Performing maintenance, repair, and servicing work on machines and production equipment

Ensuring high equipment availability and a smooth production process

Diagnosing and resolving mechanical malfunctions and signs of wear

Analyzing the causes of faults and implementing sustainable solutions

Assembly, disassembly, and modification of machines, assemblies, and plant components

Fabrication and customization of structures, mounts, and replacement parts

Performing general metalworking tasks

Documenting the maintenance and repair work performed

Contributing to technical improvements and plant optimizations
Your profile
-
Completed training as a metalworker, industrial mechanic, assembly mechanic, or a comparable qualification

Ideally, professional experience in an industrial setting

Technical understanding and experience working with machinery and equipment

Knowledge of metalworking and welding techniques is a plus
-
Ability to work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner

Ability to work as part of a team, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
